Understanding Production Quotes: Crew, Travel, Editing, and Usage
A production quote is a set of assumptions about the assignment. Read each part against your brief rather than comparing only the total.

Crew and production
Check who attends, for how long and with what responsibilities. Photography, sound recording and on-site editing may need separate people. Confirm setup, travel and overtime arrangements. Ask which tasks depend on your team providing access or preparation.
Post-production
Identify selection, retouching, film editing, sound, graphics, subtitles and version exports. Check review rounds and what counts as a change of scope. A request for another film length or language may be more than a small correction.
Usage and logistics
Confirm intended publication, third-party use, travel and accommodation. Ask about payment stages and conditions for changes. Resolve unclear items in the written scope before confirming the assignment, then keep the final proposal as the reference for delivery.
