Terms and conditions
1. Who we are
Creative Quest Agency is a creative, media and technology business based in Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Company registration details and registered address are to be confirmed before publication.
2. Quotes and acceptance
A quotation sets out the scope, the deliverables, the schedule and the fee. It is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work begins when you accept the quotation in writing and any agreed deposit has been received.
3. Deposits and payment
Unless agreed otherwise, a deposit is payable before production is scheduled, and the balance is payable on delivery. Travel, accommodation, permits, licensing and third-party costs are quoted separately and charged at cost unless included in the quotation.
4. Scheduling, weather and rescheduling
Production dates are held once a deposit is received. Where weather, access or safety makes a shoot unworkable, we will reschedule to the next mutually available date. Cancellation by you inside an agreed notice period may incur costs already committed on your behalf.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for site access, permissions from property owners, consent from any identifiable people you ask us to photograph or film, and for the accuracy of any material you supply to us.
6. Revisions and approval
Each quotation states how many rounds of revision are included. Additional rounds, or changes to an agreed brief after production, are quoted separately.
7. Copyright and usage
Creative Quest Agency retains copyright in all work it creates unless copyright is expressly assigned in writing. You receive a usage licence, and its scope — media, territory and duration — is set out with your deliverables. See the media usage and licensing page for how this works in practice.
8. Our portfolio
We would like to show the work. We will ask for your permission before publishing anything from your project, and we will honour a refusal or an embargo without argument.
9. Archiving
We keep an archive copy of delivered work for an agreed period. Archiving is a courtesy, not a backup service; keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
10. Liability
We carry out work with reasonable skill and care. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the work in question, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
