How to Prepare Your Tanzania Hotel for a Photography Shoot

A hotel shoot is easier when the property is ready before the crew arrives. Use a room-by-room preparation plan with a named owner for each task.

Decide what must be shown

List room categories, public spaces, food and service scenes against the channels that need them. Mark essential views and details that answer guest questions. Use the actual room inventory so one attractive suite does not stand in for a different category.

Prepare and release spaces

Reset linen, remove temporary clutter and check lamps, curtains and visible cables. Assign housekeeping and maintenance tasks before the shoot. Hold agreed rooms out of service for the required window and provide keys or access without making the photographer search for staff.

Appoint a coordinator

One person should approve presentation and resolve access questions. Arrange models or participating staff in advance and confirm consent. Keep a weather alternative and a list of spaces that can be photographed while another room is being prepared.
