How to Arrange Photography with Your Zanzibar Resort

Your resort can help identify suitable spaces and times, but professional access needs explicit agreement. Contact the property before confirming a photography session.

Explain the production size

Tell the resort how many people will attend, whether video is included and what equipment is expected. A quiet couple session differs from a commercial brand shoot. Ask about visitor access, charges, private areas and any conditions for publication.

Work around guest operations

Choose a session window that avoids busy check-in, dining or pool periods. Request a named contact for the day. Other guests should not become part of the imagery simply because the session takes place in a shared space.

Separate property and photographer responsibilities

Confirm who arranges access, transport and any decoration or private dining. Get the agreed spaces in writing and share them with the photographer. If aerial coverage is proposed, it requires its own permissions assessment rather than resort permission alone.

Before you enquire

  • Session size and purpose
  • Visitor and access charges
  • Named resort coordinator
  • Written space approval

Advice from a Moshi-based photography and film studio. Availability, fees, permissions and delivery are confirmed for each assignment; examples are planning guidance rather than a booking commitment.
