Kilimanjaro expedition photography and filming
An expedition film can follow preparation, the team and the journey. Coverage needs to be planned around the climb and the operator's safety decisions.

Scope the expedition first
Send the route, itinerary, operator, group size and story you want to tell. Ground-based interviews, departure coverage and an on-route crew are very different productions. Crew availability and suitability must be assessed for the proposed itinerary before coverage is confirmed.
Let the operator lead the mountain plan
Production must fit the operator's requirements for access, staffing, equipment carriage, accommodation and safety. Weather, health and route conditions may change the story. A specific summit shot cannot be guaranteed or made a condition of anyone continuing a climb.
Build the story beyond the summit
Preparation, conversations, support work and the return can give a film meaning even when the mountain changes the plan. Agree consent, interview language, intended audience and any sponsor requirements before departure. Current authority requirements must be checked for the actual production.
